Hasbro Children's Garden

The children's hospital and associated healing garden and play space was built in 1994. The garden provides patients and their families with a place for play, rest and reflection. In 2020, this well-loved garden was updated with a new play area, basketball hoop, flexible seating, and a refreshed garden trellis, amphitheater and landscape. Traverse developed custom sign panels in English and Spanish highlighting Rhode Island history, healthy foods, and the Good Night Lights program. New lighting was installed and spotlights added for the Good Night Lights program. The bones of the garden remain intact including the stone walls, archways, and fountain.
