Notre Dame Academy

Traverse worked with Notre Dame Academy to upgrade their existing facility, improving the overall quality of the fields at the school in Hingham. Working with the fields committee, Traverse studied a variety of options for improving the facility. The existing track and field were upgraded with a new 80,000-square-foot synthetic turf field and synthetic track. ADA improvements were provided throughout the site, including a new concession/restroom facility. Throwing areas were carefully thought out on the very constrained site, allowing for major track events to function. Improvements include new athletic field lighting, LED scoreboard, softball dugouts, softball backstop, and portable bleachers.

Traverse assisted the Owner through an aggressive construction schedule to meet the client’s athletic needs with limited disruption. Traverse participated in numerous committee meetings as well as facilitating discussions regarding design and construction.
